That sounds good to me. I'll also have den League Pass Broadband if it's available in Germany. But as far as I know, there will only be available those games, which are not shown on national TV in the US. But I'm sure there will be enough links here for those games, which will be shown on national TV.

Does somebody know what the price was last season and what quality these League Pass Broadband streams will have (min. 800kbps hoepfully?)

^^ I e-mailed them about two weeks and the reply was basically that they haven't come to a conclusion whether to allow NBALP in Europe. Its the same answer that you got. I hope they will do it though so maybe I can see every Pistons game this season!

Why don't they allow it? Think of all the money they would make

I'm thinking that there is just too much red tape to cut through. The NBA might have to deal with each European country and it's top Networks individually. However...If the NBA is looking for exposure and the possibility of maybe expanding over seas, LP would be a great way of spreading the word.

NBA League Pass was allowed in certain countries outside the US last year, it was the first time that happend, because before NBA sold LP broadband together with the NBA LP cable package. But they can only sell LP broadband at countries where they didnt sell the rights for live online games before, that is the reason why Germany was not on the list last year, and as far as i know that will not change, because the rights premiere bought for televising NBA include the online coverage.

I bought one last year and it cost me about £50 in England. It was great at the start of the season, watched loads of games. But the last couple of months of the season it STOPPED WORKING.

I sent loads of emails to tech support to get it working but I was near ignored and it felt like I was getting cheated out of my money. So I was here looking for streams then.

It's funny I just sent a similar email to this post yesterday. Have you seen the NFL league pass alternative through yahoo? That's what the NBA needs

It started with 2006/07 season in some countries (Australia,... I think) and it was extended last season, but like inLIMBO said, there were problems, even if it was working in the last weeks, because a guy succeeded from Belgium.

Regarding the rights, I don't know if it depends on online games (Premiere...). There are other countries in Europe without online games where NBA LP Broadband is not available. And if Premiere send US national TV games online, it can't go against LP.

The fact is,that every country can watch LP.The only thing that you need is internet and the links. But to get the links you need to buy LP.And to buy it you have to live in one of the countries they have listed......I tried to buy it last season but I couldnt klick anything because there wasnt anything there to click in the shop and always the massage "Your shopping chart is empty". Even if they allow LP in the non listed countries 99$=72€ thats not many for so much games I dont have VISA or MasterCard or anything like that, how should I pay??? That will be the payment-method 4 sure!!!

Premiere does not own anything at this point, as any other possible broadcaster in Germany. And they're in deep financial problems right as well.
So, as of right now, it looks like German viewers won't be able to watch NBA Games on TV(at least at the start of the season) this year.

I'm also interested in LP this year, but there've been quite some problems in the past(when it was available in Germany), because IP's aren't set in Germany and games couldn't be watched(blacked out) because of that.
