Octoshape is a pretty old program already, like this post. But, it added RTPi to their channellist so that's why it becomes interesting... And now some others showed up

Download it, install it, and click the channel links or copy paste the links to start a channel, it loads in Mediaplayer then!

You need to use Internet Explorer to watch. Also keep in mind the Bensports schedule changes alot, so games can be cancelled or you see another game sometimes.

Sometimes it stops after a few minutes, hit play then to resume. Both links got the issue

We know it, already checking it once every 2 weeks, but it still isn;t containing anything interested. Only some "uninteresting" channels without sports , so let's hope they improve it soon ;)

Yeah I just stumbled upon this myself.

The quality of the channels is amazing, but as you said, nothing worthwhile. A bunch of international channels that no one is going to watch.

I tried to watch Slo-Tur from Octoshape/Slovenian TV 2, but when the channel opened, there was just a grey screen with some text on it. Other channels seem to be working fine. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think you can watch sports on Slo2... octoshape just plays "original" Slo2 stream available on http://www.rtvslo.si/
It's a copyright problem... Slo1/Slo2 pay for this rights but they are limited to slovenia so there is no stream when foreign movies or sports are on... it's probably the same for every national television which has an internet broadcast

Was worried about having to download a 'new' player, but desperate to watch rugby that was on here.
Quick download and update then a simple right click to copy the bensports3 link to my browser.
Worked wonderfully and compared to most other players...absolutely no buffering!

Normally only pick media player streams and justin tv links as have 832Kbps connection....this was playing for the whole match with no problems, i hope the rest of the Heineken Cup rugby are streamed here!

I have downloaded and installed the software, then clicked on the link above for Ben Sports 2 but it just comes up saying "please donload P2P software to watch the stream" at the top and then underneath that (in what I assume should be the player window) it says:

请先安装 octoshape插件,然后刷新观看

Please Download Octoshape to watch

What am I doing wrong? Is it simply becuase it isn't broadcasting yet? Only I would have thought it would produce a different set of instructions/description?

Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: Also, in the list of chanels it brings up when you select play from the taskbar icon, Ben Sports isn't there? Would it be called something else?

First links do work. First install Octoshape. Then restart your pc/browser, and click the links listed. The first links do all work right now, the second ones might need a few times F5 to start.

It makes local id's, so the VLC links work only for you
You still need octoshape, tried the same

Good program! I use IE 8 beta2 and all bensports are good, except for 6! Anyone has the same problem?
