Creating A TVAnts Tracker

Setting up a Private Tracker Server
1-3-1. the default tracker server is www.tvants.com
1-3-2. If you wish to set up your own tracker server, please go to server tab, press add and fill in the related information (refer picture below)




1-3-3 when you successfully add a tracker server, you may go to
 Tools  setting  tracker tab (refer picture below)
1) Enable the tracker
2) Set your prefer tracker port, default is 16600
3) Domain name
4) Enable Default Announce Location and set your announcement page display for channel initial buffering
5) The ODBC database support is not open to users yet, other please set as default.

How big server need for a good tracker?

Unsure to be honest, but you need some good upload speed if you make it public. You can also use it for yourself.

It's very important feature for me. Maybe someone knows the DB structure (what tables are used by TVAnts)?

No, that is not true, you don't need to have a big upload bandwidth.

No, that is not true, you don't need to have a big upload bandwidth.

Actually you need a decent amount of speed. It's pretty much a basic information server, but if you have a lot of channels which in turn have a lot of viewers you have to supply each viewer with the information on the channel.

Don't see why it wouldn't be. There hasn't been any updates to TVAnts since the guide was written, except for the yearly update which is quite lame.

list.tvants.com is hosted on a 1Mbit upload connection, and it worked fine til the chinese firewall tried to block it, that's why I am making mirrors and tests to solve the matter.
