Arrow MyP2P's MLB streaming patterns explained

With roughly 25 percent of the MLB regular season in the books, we've noticed a pattern of who streams what teams.

    TEAM (Streamer)
    Boston (NESN)
    Cleveland (aerialthunder)
    Milwaukee (aakaminski)
New York Yankees (JGiambi) & (AtdheNET)
Philadelphia (PKCable or AlexOvechkin (they collaborate))
    Toronto (luckyone)
NY Mets (AtdheNET) when Yankees are not covered by him

Various factors play into this — including limitations due to TV Tuner Card (and what's on a streamer's cable system) and a streamer's work/sleep schedule — but those above streamers will more often than not have those teams.

We also want to add two more things:

    1. This is NOT the end all list of who will be streamed every night. Some streamers may still pick up a second game (depending on how the schedules balance out). Some streamers are "at large" streamers and can pick up games on a daily basis to fill out the schedule the best he/she can. We may not get every single game up, but we certainly try.
NOTE: We strongly encourage such "at large" streamers to avoid streaming the teams listed above as to avoid double-streams and to diversify the amount of games that we stream.

    2. The NBA/NHL playoffs will make things tough for another month or so. Some of our regular streamers do love to stream those sports. Please be considerate of this. Once those seasons taper off and conclude, the streamers will do more MLB.

We hope this helps you the viewers out in some way, and we ask that you keep in mind that the rules of the MLB Forum apply to this thread, as it does everywhere else in the forum.

    Mets. reds . marlins
Guys i would love to stream yankees
cause its the only MLB team that i watch playing
and i can watch them only when i stream them ( cant watch them on tv in europe )
but anyway i will cover as many games as possible

ideal for me would be 2 games at 7pm and 2 games from 10pm
so we can cover more daily

I really am not trying to be rude in any way, and I hope I don't come across like that. Also, I'm not trying to get on pkcable or AlexOvechkin's bad side or anything. Really...I mean after all, we are all Philly sports fans. I just wanted to note that since the beginning of the season, I've only seen a Phillies game streamed by pkcable and/or AlexOvechkin like once or twice. If it weren't for the wonderful "at large" streamers like Akeja, Jodelo, and ASOBN, I probably would not have been able to watch as many of the Phillies games as I've had the great privilege to have seen thus far. My appreciation for all the streamers and this great service is infinite, and I know I've expressed as much in numerous posts in the past. Thus, again, I'm not trying to knock anyone or appear disrespectful. I just wanted to express some concern that hopefully will be proved totally unnecessary as I hope pkcable and/or AlexOvechkin can become more active in streaming the Phillies than they have been so far (not requesting, just citing them as they were named in the list of team specific streamers). I understand fully that there are other sports and playoffs going on. I guess I only voice this concern because of the discouraging of the "at large" streamers to stream games attributed to the great folks that were designated in the list provided, especially because up to this point, those named for the Phillies haven't been very active in streaming them. Hope this makes sense, and doesn't sound too neurotic.

For now I am mostly doing NHL Playoffs HOWEVER due to a VERY recent development I can now stream most Phillies games. However the IIHF World Championship are also clouding that picture. AlexO is also facing the complication that he is from Germany thus the games are VERY late for him and he's in school, BUT going on summer break soon. In the meantime I have arrianged for ASOBN & Ajeka to stream the Phillies. So rest assure you will not miss your favorite team often. Although it MAY be that not all Phillies games will get broadcasted, I am confindent that between, myself, AlexO, Ajeka, and ASOBN (when he's back in business) we will cover MOST Phillies games.

    EDIT: I am not offended!

The reason why you haven't seen it yet, is because they are handling NHL playoffs, once those end they will have more games broadcasted.

Lets do it this way with the Yankees. You can do the games on Sunday, Monday, and WEnsday since those are the days I am home and I can watch them on TV in the other room.

Thank you so much! I should have known that my concern was ill-placed. So glad that you did not take offense in any way, as I really didn't mean any at all. Cheers!

This is why we have this so we can get more people to stream more games, not just the big market teams

I've decided to stream my TV Tuner signal on sunday, which means ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, in PORTUGUESE, but my bandwidth is not so good (2M/500k), so I'll get games around 300k.

Also, I'll probably get HR Derby and ASG, as long as brazilian ESPN casts those events. It's too early to talk about postseason, altought I don't think I'll miss those games but the ones ESPN here don't cast.

Guys, when my schedule permits, I'll grab Tampa and the Cubs to make sure I can watch. If the game is already covered or my schedule has me otherwise occupied, I'll fill in games that aren't covered. My bandwidth allows for 2 400K games or 1 800K.

Can we try to get the at-large streamers, to stream games that aren't being covered before we get games doubled up.

    Default Baseball for dummies :D

Well till the NBA season is over as is he Euro 2008, I have tried to get a little bit into baseball and i really begin to like it. I think also i have the basics as positions, stats, etc figured out.
But I still have some questions and till now i could really find an answer I hape i can get here some help thxs in advance.

    - How many pitchers are in the regular season in a teams rotation?
    - How many innings must a pitcher pitch to have pitched a full game?
    - What are the regulations on players from farm teams can they be picked up and dumped at will during a season?
    - are there any salary regulations at all in baseball
    - how many different type of pitches a good pitcher normally have?
    - whats all the signaling is it only show or really necessary, i guess they would have to change the signals each game or at least each week
    - what is so special at a left handed pitcher or batter?

well thats it for now thxs for your help
