Spring Training Today Rules:

Read the thread! Your question(s) may be answered before you even post.
No bashing of streams and/or streamers.
No stream requests of any kind.
No links to banned sites or sites containing banned site information.
Let moderators handle issues. Don't take matters into your own hands.
Please do not e-mail mods with questions that can be answered in this thread. Besides, some mods are not home during the games and won't be able to respond to your e-mail in a timely manner.
VIOLATIONS OF MYP2P or NCAA TODAY RULES, OR ANYTHING ELSE DEEMED OUT OF LINE, IS SUBJECT TO A TEMPORARY BAN! MAJOR OFFENSES WILL RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN!

Streaming schedule:

Schedule is subject to change at a moment's notice.
At times links don't work or fail; complaining will get you a BAN. Help out and try to find a working link (within the rules).
All times are Eastern Standard Time. Use the Time Zone Converter to determine start times in your area.
JIP = Game may be joined in progress after an earlier game concludes.
Stream links can also be found here MyP2P Live Sports.

*Remember... you have to let a stream buffer for at least 5 minutes to know anything AND 10 minutes to know anything for sure.

Be patient. Please do not complain. It's not cool. ...and after all... it is FREE.

Essentials

Take the time to learn about the Software and how to use it!
Be sure your PC's date and time are correct.
Sometimes you need to close and reopen your browser. ie: Firefox, IE.
For most streams, IE is recommended. (solves most sound problems)
Get the most recent Flash update.
Sometimes the software needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
This stuff works >>>>>
download tvants, and possibly a fix (xp/vista users increase connections to greater than 50); use the Eventid ones IMO.
UK - Tvants users MAY need to go HERE for proxy servers. ...or do you need a proxy for Yahoo! streams?
See http://www.myp2pforum.eu/tvants/8839...oxy-guide.html. Ipfree has good proxies, 95% of those do work, use those with a socks5.
Be sure to clear your cache and cookies before using a new proxy.
Or you may need to try and Repair/Reset Winsock settings
Other software... TVU Older Beta Download 2.3.4; Sopcast; WMP; VLC; etc which can be found in the appropriate forums.

Using VLC v0.8.6d for TvAnts streams:

Download VLC at VideoLAN.org and install it.
Open VLC
Double-click the link you want to view OR copy and paste the "tvants" url into your browser and click "go" (or press enter).
With TVAnts running: Right click on the streaming picture window, go to "Properties" and copy the .asf link you find.
In VLC, go to "File" and open a network stream.
In the HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS box, paste in the asf link.
Click on "OK" and sit back and watch in VLC. Close the TVAnts picture window, but DO NOT close the main TVAnts application.
You MUST leave TvAnts running; closing TvAnts closes the stream.
(Side note: The asf link will change for each stream. Usually the last number is what changes.)

How to Record with VLC v0.8.6d:

Start VLC
Select File > Open Network Stream
Select HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS and paste the URL/Link
Select Stream/Save under Advanced Options and click on Settings
Select Outputs and Play locally and File
Select ASF as Encapsulation Method
Select OK and VLC should start to play and also capture the video to the file.
Hope you have a ton of disk space!! This recording makes very large files.

How to use ipfree.cn/en Proxies and xroxy proxies in TVAnts
~Be sure to clear your cache and cookies before using a new proxy!!!

Double click on the small tv icon in your task bar (that's tvants)
Click on tools
Click on settings
Click on the proxy tab
Click Add

~EXAMPLE~
Name: blank if you wish
Type: Socks 5 (use the drop down)
Host: 203.116.173.131
Port: 3370
Authentication: User Name/Password
Username: ma
Password: (changes daily)

Add these to your existing; do not over-write and "move first" by pressing the move first button.
If the old one works just change password to (???)

Click ok
Click apply
Close down tvants
Then click on the game links in Post 1

Baseball Fans: 2009 list of ALL Spring Training TV Games - SatelliteGuys.US

It has all known televised MLB Spring Training games organized in 2 simple Excel spreadsheets... by Date and by Team. A Free Download Link to 2003 Excel Viewer (~9Mb) is listed in case you don't have Excel installed already.

Very useful, but they don't distinguish the HOME team, and the times seem to be local to a particular station not a uniform "all times eastern", for example. Check here for gametime and home/visitor info > Major League Baseball Schedule | MLB.com: Schedule

Just like to say i will soon have ESPN America so i will be able to stream some games this season. Not sure whether it will be ready for preseason but definatley for the start of the regular season. I know it streams 250 lives games a season so i'll definately help out! Shame i can only stream 141kb/s

I was just wondering since none of the orioles games are listed, i have a quick question somebody may know. The orioles spring training games will be aired on 105.7 the fan radio station. I live just outside the area to get reception for that game, and the website plays the station feed but says due to legal terms cant play the games online through the radio feed. Is there anyway else to listen to that station without paying?
