Timezones Abbreviations:
GMT = Greenwich Mean Time
EDT = Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-4)

HOW TO USE SPVOD:
It isn't easy-to-use as JustinTV or streaming progs like TVants, Sopcast and so on, unfortunately.
Luckily, there's an ongoing thread here on myp2p that can help a lot with using Spvod; here it is:

A few important details:

1) Don't try installing it launching the .exe, most probably you'll only manage to get a popup message in chinese...>__< - rather click on a stream, it should ask you to install an activeX control, do it, that should be it;

2) Here's the english schedule with all the next events streamed on spvod:

Note that it lists only the event of the next few days, so you may want to check it constantly to see what will be on; in case the page doesn't load (timeout error) try accessing it through an IP-hiding service, like this one:

(the times shown within the schedule are CST - chinese times - see above for time conversions)

3) Spvod's streams can be seen only in IE; FireFox users can install this addon which allows to open an IE session within FF, as if it was just another tab:

Hiya all!

I thought about opening a thread about japanese baseball, so as to gather other fans of NPB (Nippon Pro Baseball, the japanese league) and hopefully to host links to streams of next season games (if anybody from Japan or S.Korea - where btw they have those terrific 20Mb/s internet connections!) feels like streaming some games, well, post here your links, ok?

Huge fan! Remember last summer when I still had some time of to go up at 6 in the morning to stream a game... Aaah good times. Would really like to go there and catch a game sometime in the future.

OK, finally managed to see the spvod page...

Judging by the english schedule (live,sports live,Epl live,Spl live,Isa live,web live,Scores live,Nba live,spvod live,), they'll show these 2 pre-seasonal games:

I've managed to see how spvod works (more or less)...it needs IE, FireFox users can install this add-on which allows to open a IE session inside FireFox, as if it was just a new tab (haven't yet tried it, though):

#6... if you're going to do this then I think it would be best to do a weekly thread and list dates and times in the first post of the thread. In the first post generally Admin likes to have the boiler plate. It's the bullet part you see on MLB before the links. If you want help or advice, I know any mod or super mod will assist you. Me included.
Nice work and I look forward to seeing some games these season. If the WBC showed me anything it was that they have some terrific pitching in that League and the fan support is to be envied by teams everywhere.

I edited the 1st post, could it be fine like this?

Unfortunately I'm afraid it can't be done on a weekly basis, as spvod's english schedule is updated just a coupla days in advance...so i.e. right now it includes only today's and tomorrow's events...

I also know of a coupla JustinTV channels that could perhaps show some games, but I'm not sure whether to add the links in the 1st post or what, as it's not as if I was sure that they'll be showing any particular game...it's more a matter of giving it a try when a game's being played and checking those channels to see if by any chance they're broadcasting it...

I do understand links sometimes do not become available too far in advance and sometimes not until a game actually starts. But I think it would be more organized to set up a consistant looking 1st post. With the boiler plate (rules, etc... I'll insert it if you want) and each day of the week listed with what ever links you might have at that point. You can insert new found gamelinks when available and it will allow you to easily update/add/edit when needed.
It's fine to add justin links to your post. We usually like to add... /popout ...to the end of the url so viewers can go right to the screen with out the chat box.

OK.. so you know the channels to look for if you want to post the games. And there will be others. Now you might put it in a format that viewers can use. With each day and each game listed with known working links posted together. I'm sure you seen examples of the way forums are set up here. But take some time to look them over and see what works for other members and mods. Then you'll have a good idea of what to do.
Once you have made a post of your own then I'll insert the part with the rules and Myp2p information (boiler plate).
