I think its an advantage. An extra game means so much more in-game experience and work.

I say 50-50. Always good to have an extra "warm-up" game, but always a risk of losing a #1 player to an injury during preseason.

Helpful Software Information

• FAQ for NFL streaming and viewing

Essentials

• Take the time to learn about the Software and how to use it!
• Be sure your PC's date and time are correct.
• Sometimes you need to close and reopen your software.
• Sometimes you need to close and reopen your browser. ie: firefox, IE.
• For most streams, IE is recommended. (solves most sound problems)
• Get the most recent Flash update.
• Sometimes the software needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
  This stuff works >>>>>
• download tvants, and possibly a fix (xp/vista users increase connections to greater than 50); use the Eventid ones IMO.
• UK Users may need a Proxy. Using TOR would cover it. The guy who posted this did a first rate job - step by step with pictures. More background here Tor (anonymity network) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ~Thanks Big Mac!
• If you have an issue, clear your cache and cookies before using the new proxy.
• Or you may need to try and Repair/Reset Winsock settings
  
• Other software... TVU Older Beta Download 2.3.4; Sopcast; WMP; VLC; StreamTorrent; etc...
• Open stream torrent, click on edit > paste link, the stream will pop up in the bottom and u dbl click to watch. simple

Having issues viewing a TVAnts stream? Use VLC!

• Download VLC at VideoLAN.org and install it.
• Turn on TVAnts. Right click on the streaming picture window, go to "Properties" and copy the .asf link you find.
• In VLC, go to "File" and open a network stream.
• In the HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS box, paste in the asf link.
• Click on "OK" and sit back and watch in VLC. Close the TVAnts picture window, but DO NOT close out of the TVAnts application, for this closes the stream. (Side note: The asf link will change for each stream. Usually the last number is what changes.)

• Search at the TVAnts forum on MyP2P Forums
• Still can't find an answer? Start a thread in the TVAnts forum and ask for help.

it is definitely a advantage. It gives the coaching staff an additional week to evaluate their personnell. But it also gives injury another chance.
