Default 22:00 CET | Spanish Supercopa 1st leg

    Athletic Bilbao vs FC Barcelona

MyP2P.eu :: Spanish Primera Division - FC Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao
(no La Liga match, and in the San Mamés in Bilbao)

The best club in the world is back with real football, football with meaning and purpose! Against the runners up of the Copa del Rey. Barcelona will try to achieve the fourth title of season 2008-09. But it was never an easy match in the San Mamés. We won't see Ibrahimovic yet, no Messi and probably not even Iniesta. But any squad should be good enough to accomplish a good result to finish the 2nd leg on sunday 23 august in Camp Nou as the winner of the trophy.

    Visca el Barça!

Sounds like a preseason training game then for Barca If it goes wrong they can always put their best squad on the week after on the 23rd.

Always good to have such evening games

I really hope I'll be home right in time to catch the match!
Preseason and the US tour were all good and well but - time for the real football now!
It's gonna be a great atmosphere at the San Mamés and a clash between two clubs full of glorious tradition.

    Barça, Barça, Barçaaa!!!

    Squad:

    Keepers: Valdés y Pinto

Defense: Alves, Puyol, Piqué, Abidal, Maxwell, Muniesa, Fontàs

Midfield: Xavi, Touré, Keita, Busquets, Jonathan dos Santos, Gudjohnsen

    Forwards: Pedro, Bojan, Henry, Jeffren

Henrique is also missing here - seems like Pep is not yet convinced of him

Can Barça produce some magic tonight without Iniesta, Messi and Ibrahimovic?

Even if the game may be a little like a more serious preseason for us rather than the first real highlight of the season it's a really good test at the beginning of a long period of football. Athleti will be top motivated playing against the treble winning side and they will try everything to win their first title since 1985 so it won't be everything but an easy on.
I really can't wait for this to start off the new season!!

    Let's go for this cup!

Yeah, Atleti will fight hard for the trophy they won't deserve.
We should actually play against Barca B, because nobody else than we won the Copa del Rey.
19 different streams for this minor game, the supporters of the treble winners will probably have more streams to chose than ever

Will see how Athletic is going to play, I suppose that they will start very agressive and putting strong pressure at the defenders to not allow Barça could play the ball easily.
I wish that nobody get injuried, in San Mames they use to play at the limit of the rules under a heated atmosphere, specially when they play against big clubs, so today will not be easy.
