Exclamation ST Buffers but doesn't play anything. (SOLVED)

Here is my issue. I click on links, they load in ST and start to buffer. They continue to buffer but nothing ever shows up in the "appreciation" screen.
I am running Windows XP. WMP 11 with all updates available.

Here is a video of my issue tonight to show it better. I let stream buffer, it says my connection is fine so ports must not be the issue, and this is what it does:

    Anyone have help?

EDIT: (Issue Solved with help from next post)

OK after looking and looking have found the solution. This may help other users not sure.
    This is what I did.

In Vista, run cmd.exe, type in "regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll", enter and you are done.

    Streamtorrent started working after this.
This happens to me and after searching for days found this and it worked for me. I had the same issue you have.

Don't matter if you have XP or Vista, if you have WMP11 installed just do this:

    Click Start --> Run...
Type in cmd & click ok
Type: "regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll" without the quotes & enter and you are done.
Type in exit or close the dos box.

Or Click Start > Run and just copy and paste regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll in to the run Command then Enter.

I tried running the command regsvr32 wmnetmgr.dll which said it was successfull. When I tried re-running stream torrent i got the same error with flashing connection after fully buffered.

This issue is happening on my laptop only.

I also have a desktop that is having no problem streaming the same game though i would rather watch it on my lappy.

the desktop and laptop are both using XP with WMP11

    Any ideas dead man?

    thanks.

How much does streamtorrent have to do with windows media player? I have this same problem, but I know that my WMP is broken (weird errors). I can't find any mention of video player choice through streamtorrent though, do I need to get WMP working for this to work at all?

Helped a guy do that in my ST chat tonight & ran into another issue in Vista. He got:
"The module xxx.dll was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed
    with error code 0x8002801c."
So, googled the error and found this workaround:
Have you typed cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb and when cmd.exe appears at the top of the Start Menu, right clicked on it and selected "Run as Administrator" and then executed the regsvr command?

    That did the trick!

It pretty much depends on it to work. Best bet is to reinstall wmp11.
