Default Info for listing your stream webpage!

Welcome to Myp2p. One of the biggest guide for all your live sports. For guides on how to stream, take a look at the Streaming Section. The best is to use p2p software like Sopcast, TVU, Veetle, StreamTorrent or TVAnts to stream, as those are reliable for a large amount of users. But of course you can also use flash. Try to avoid using justintv, make-itlive and v-share. They bother most viewers with all kind of crap advertisements/pay messages/toolbars.

I've got/found a P2P link like sopcast, streamtorrent, tvu and others

Then you can send the info directly to freesoccer at gmail.com and we will add it to our schedules.

I've got my own website with a flash or p2p stream

We understand it when you want your website with a flash stream to be listed on Myp2p. Myp2p has a huge amount of visitors. We always want the best for our visitors, as we want to be sure they don't get bothered with spam or other crap. Everyone comes here to watch a live event, not for all kind of other stuff or to see advertisements. We aim for a clean site with links to other sites which can be trusted. You can be part of that, the only thing you have to do is to follow the rules below.

List of rules that need to be followed in order for your stream to be listed.

    1) Make sure you link MyP2P.eu back with a banner. This banner should be placed in a clear view preferably just above the stream. Link back to MyP2P.eu :: Live sports and Now Playing overview. Free Live Sports right now on your pc. . We only ask for loyalty, so you choose for Myp2p. No advertisements between the myp2p banner and your stream.

    2) Advertising: There should be 0 annoying ads on your page, that means no pop ups advertising, NO GAMBLING SITES, absolutely no adult sites, porn or anything else that's not done. Googleadsense is allowed.
You can have 3 or 4 ads around the stream. Please avoid ads over the stream, called layers, popups or instream ads. If you want to place one on the stream, then it has to have a close button and to be your only ad on your whole website.

    3) Please make sure your channel is easy to find and that there should be NO OTHER P2P sites linked to apart from MyP2P. Making schedules of other streams or embedding/linking to other streams on your site isn't allowed.
Also having your own forum to discuss things isn't allowed. A chat like many people do have is okay, if you control it. Just try to keep it clean, so everyone knows it's about the streams and watching events. Just keep it easy: a channel, the myp2p banner, maybe an advertisement/chat and not much else.

    4) The stream that you have available on your page should be yours and not some other channel that you embed just for the sake of attracting viewers to your sites. The stream has to be at least of watchable quality, even in full screen. There should be no restrictions and viewable free without issues for everyone. You can put a text on your stream saying it belongs to you, which shows you control it and prevents others from using it.

    5) Your site has to have a decent look, without ads overtaking a page or annoying popups. But this has been stated above already.

Okay, I followed the rules. What to do now?

Send an e-mail to freesoccer [at] gmail.com . We will have a look and let you know if your site follows the rules. If it does, you will get a reply back and then you can send your schedule to the same e-mail adress. We will make sure you get added to our huge schedule list. Or you can use our schedule section (Here) to post your schedules.

If you are caught breaking any of these rules then after a warning, we will no longer list your webpage.

Banners available to use (Save and upload to your site)

Ofcourse you can also create another banner, please leave a reply and let us know, if it's a good one we will get it listed to the first post!!!

Credit to users for creating these great banners.

Any questions? Leave a reply below. At any time make sure the stream on your page is working at least 15-30 minutes before the start of the scheduled game. Failure to do this may result in removal of the stream of the schedules.

Sorry just noticed something in the rules there about 0 ads. Could I have someones msn or email so I could talk this over with them?

I've removed any sports betting or related. I would use adsense but I know they wouldn't approve of it being used on a streaming site as this is against their TOS.

EDIT: Send me an email here so we can discuss this offline. I would love to know what I can and cant do exactly.

    john@sportslivefeed.com

    Thx

It will be best if you talk with Admin. Go this profile page and add him to MSN. He should help you. Ask him early like before 1pm ET or after 5pm ET (He usually goes offline at 6pm ET)

guys, donīt you think that the rules are too strict?!
i mean for example rags2riches posted his streams today, but now they are not listed, because his website is against the rules. if a website contains ads or the myp2p banner or not, should imo be the streamers decision.
i understand that sites like at*** are banned because they steal streams, but if someone provide his own stream on their website, and shares that with us, there should be less restrictions and we should be really thankful that he/she do the work and shares that with us (for free!)
i know, youre not gonna change the rules, but maybe think about it because iīm afraid that people like rags2riches will leave us again, which would be very sad!

    just my opinion

A banner ad or two should be allowed provided they fall within certain guide lines (no p*rn, etc). As someone who is thinking about setting up a portal to embed his stream I'd at least like a little assistance paying my hosting bill!

Ads are allowed, as long as they aint annoying and don't have popups and fit with the rules.

People can do what they want to but if they want to get listed they have to follow a few rules. We don't want to send people to paysites or weird stuff with popups. It's annoying for everyone when you get popups or weird stuff or asked to get paid, so that's why rules were made.

Otherwise start a p2p stream without a webpage and there ain't any issues

Now that all the streamers aren't just using Ustream, Justin, Sopcast etc. anymore, the rules need to be pretty clear. Admin makes a good point about popups and other crap, because now it seems like everyone has their own site, and their own layout. Now when you click on a link, you don't know what to expect.

I think the personal touch is great, but everyone needs to remember that the link posted on this forum should be a link to a stream, and not just someone's personal website with a stream thrown in there. If you want to promote your own site that's fine, put a link in your sig. But people shouldn't see much more than the stream, and a link back to MyP2P when they click on your link.

i totally agree with popups and annoying ads, but i think its too much too force people to make a myp2p banner or link it back here if they donīt want to...

now it happened exactly what i thought:

Not to worry, Rags has a nice, clean site & we all enjoy his streams. Someone is working with him now as we have for other streamers. As Admin & others said above, it's the only way to make sure our myp2p members know what to expect from the stream links. Too much abuse caused this with more and more websites added lately that were just being stream stealers, linking to other pay and/or p2p sites and so on. So far, we have not lost one regular streamer with these new rules/guidelines.

I use AdBlock Plus with filters and I don't see any ads with that. On some sites I need to remove flash ads but it works for most sites with Adblock filters.

This is leafer BTW. Just using this account until my other one get fixed.

    Back to the topic:

I'm getting to this point as well and it's been a month. I've gone way beyond the call to help out around here but I'm being ignored like the plague (only the admin has really been a help). It seems as if whoever is part of some earlier clique that existed well before my time here gets the help but for people just starting up they don't.

I saw a need in the hockey forum after ustream went down so I decided to help out by providing as many daily streams as I could with the hardware I have available and could afford. The ONLY reason I'm doing this is to give back to this forum because it's been so good to me over the years. I can't remember a time an upcoming event was on and I couldn't find a stream here. Lately though hockey wise I've had to resort to those other (you the ones) websites to find feeds they rip off others efforts and in my opinion that's just not right.

On to the ads, even with those googleads (or the previous ones I had) I'm still taking a loss regardless each month, which is fine but having to jump through hoops just to get a bit of help around here is beyond comprehension. Now I'm not doing this to create some massive streaming empire (if that's what people were thinking) but I definitely don't want to be paying 150$ each month out of pocket either. Breaking even (or close to it) is my goal. My reason for having a website is so people who log on each day for new streams will know someone with a website will probably be more dependable then someone who doesn't.

Anyways sorry for the long rant but it needed to be said. Thx

Rules are clear; only your own streams, embedded from others is useless in our opinion. As what's the use to link to 10 same sources and when the main one goes down all sub ones are down as well? You cant renew it if it goes offline...
