Never anything will happen, untill they add video referees this will be in the game. It's sad for the fans and everyone involved and I have said this many times before, but the fifa is just one big money making company not caring about feelings or a fair game. It happens every week; refs make mistakes, but they remain humas. Why not help them to make it more fair?

The World Cup 2010 will be the next example.

here in tyrol(.at) our main football and our main ice hockey team both play in the 2nd austrian league .... and american football has quite a lot more fans in the stadium , also in volleyball our team rules europe....

It is, but we could also go a step further and blame the players (teams/clubs) in this case Henry who cheated, where is his morality of a fair game?

It's all in the game,as the players and teams will always play on the limit of what's allowed within the rules or what the referee can't see. And it's this way for years, even decades, as the Maradonna's hand of God took place in 1986 already.

Would be unique if the Fifa would change the outcome of the game or allows another playoff game, but normally it doesn't happen and it's their own fault with not adjusting the rules or the way the game will be led by the ref(s).

its not just the action, its the hypocrisy, like the Voyeur and Carrie Prejean(anyone got that vid btw? ) he has come out on numerous occasions and posited himself as a role model and highly critical of diving/cheating.
Like so many have said many players may have done it, I actually don't think its as many as people think, obviously every Italian ever born would but we dont' give players enough credit. It was blatant and not ball to hand like he seems to be claiming - **** him, his career is on the wain (no more Gillette adverts lol) and this is what he has to do to make an impact in important games these days.

What goes around comes around; he may regret this, he did it against one of the most honest and genuine teams in FIFA, a team no one dislikes (save a few sectarian Provos in the North lol); its different than doing it against SPain or Portugal cos you know given the reverse they would do exactly the same, you cannot say that about the Irish.
