Default Sopcast no video via my SVHS...

    Hi,

I have a Windows PC running XP, and SopCast works a treat for watching hockey games, awesome picture, etc...

As long as I am viewing it through the VGA connector...

My video card also has a SVHS output which I use to go to my DVD-R so I can record the last couple hours of games.

If I am using WMP, or a non-SopCast stream, everything is fine, but when I am on a SopCast feed, and switch to my DVD-R input, there is no picture.

This happens in normal or full screen.

I know the card is ok, as I can see everything else on the desktop, just not the actual SopCast video.

It's really driving me mad as the SopCast feeds seem to be of a much higher quality than other streams.

    Any ideas?

SopCast seems to be limited in it's settings and options, so I can't see any obvious reasons...

I thought about getting around it by using the SopCast record option, however; when I click on the record button, it only seems to toggle from white to black (on or off), I never get an option to save the recording to any location.

If anyone can help with either problem I would appreciate it as staying up till 3 or 4 to watch the game live isn't feasible.

    Thanks!
