    Lightbulb Premier League Title 2010??

Who do you think will win it??

Realistically only Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United can since the other teams have a wider difference in terms of points.

Upcoming in the 11 remaining matches for these 3 named teams, the easiest opponents are for Arsenal while, Chelsea and United have some tough fixtures ahead of them.

    --------------------------------------------

Arsenal - Stoke (away), Burnley (home), Hull (away), West Ham (home), Birmingham (away), Wolves (home), Tottenham (away), Wigan (away), Man City (home), Blackburn (away), Fulham (home)

Arsenal can gain 33 points if they win all these matches however that is highly unlikely. I guess Arsenal will lose / draw against Tottenham and Manchester City. Draw against Birmingham. So let's say they get 26-28 points out of the remaining matches. That will give them 80-82 points at the end of the season.

    --------------------------------------------

Chelsea - Man City (home), West Ham (home), Blackburn (away), Portsmouth (away), Aston Villa (home), Man Utd (away), Bolton (home), Tottenham (away), Stoke (home), Liverpool (away), Wigan (home)

Chelsea meanwhile can drop 2-3 points against United and Liverpool and Tottenham. Drop 2 / 3 points against Aston Villa. So that will give them 22-24 points of the remaining 33 points. Meaning they will end the season with 83-85 points.

    --------------------------------------------

Manchester United - West Ham (home), Wolves (away), Fulham (home), Liverpool (home), Bolton (away), Chelsea (home), Blackburn (away), Man City (away), Tottenham (home), Sunderland (away), Stoke (home)

United can possibly drop 3 points each against Liverpool and City. Possibly dropping 2 or 3 points against Tottenham. So out of the remaining 33 points they will likely gain 25-27. So adding these up to the current points, it gives them 81-83 points.

    So in summary...

Arsenal can finish in the 81-83 points area.
Chelsea can finish in the 83-85 points area.
Manchester United can finish in the 82-84 points area.

Barring any disappointments, I think we are in for a very exciting end to the season

I really thought that Man Utd would be at the top of the table when Drogba was at the Africa Cup... but... I was wrong.. and today wasn't really convincing to me (3-1 lose)... if Chelski doesn't lose the Man City and West Ham game... then they are def going to win the title...:'(

Arsenal doesn't have any chance of winning ANYTHING this season! just wanted to be clear on that

I'm not sure about that now, looking at the fixtures they have on the run in till the end of the season. They could be right up their providing they pick up close to max points..which they probably wont, they'll most likely fall away at places like Stoke, Birmingham & Tottenham but they definitely have the easiest run in of the three

and if barcaly really thinks we're gonna lose to Liverpool and Man City aswell as dropping points to Tottenham at home you can think again.
Chelsea will drop points against C*ty aswell, after a midweek game at Milan

Its Chelsea's to lose now though..and they will lose it, United for the title. We get 9-odd wins out of 11, beating Chelsea on the way I think the title is ours. Regaining Vidic & Rio for the run in is vital now.

Obviously I don't want Chelsea to drop any points but I think they will. I think United will too. Last game against City was close for you guys and you can possibly lose points against them. Liverpool always end up beating United so I highly doubt they will stop now. Lastly the Spurs have a awkward team so if the whole Spurs show up, they can get some points aganst United. Also in my guess I didn't take any points away from United's weaker opponent however we all know the small teams can cause upsets.

Even though I'm an Arsenal fan, I voted for Chelsea coz with the team we got right now we wont win it until Wenger sorts everything out in the summer and plus Chelsea would deserve it more than the bastards United.

Ok lets look at the 'tougher' fixtures:

Man Utd: City (A), Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham (Home)

Chelsea: City (H), Man Utd (A), Liverpool (A), Villa (A), and Tottenham (H).

If we beat Chelsea (which I think is mandatory looking at our run in) then I think we stand in good ground. We normally finish strong and have been here tons of times before and come out conquerors, I reckon we could afford to get just half points 6/12 from those fixtures above and still win the title (including beating Chelsea).

Chelsea being even more reliant on Drogba then we are on Rooney...and Terry playing shit I reckon they're bound for a slip up here and their

But dont write Arsenal off (could be worth a longshot if your a risky gambler), they got the pissiest run in of games anyone could've hoped for

We have already played Villa away and Tottenham at home. You've got them the wrong way round mate.

I certainly think you are wrong about Chelsea being more reliant on Drogba than you lot are on Rooney. Don't forget,we do have Anelka. You have OG! While Drog was at the African Nations,Anelka was on fire in his right position as Centre Forward. Who would you rather rely on - Anelka or Berbatov? Its a non contest.

Our run in is definately the toughest and I've said it all along. If Chelsea are going to win the League then they need to win it before going to OT in my opinion. With that in mind and Utd being Utd and Arsenal's easier run in,I f****d if I know who will win it. Its quite possible that this years winners might lose 7 games and still win the title.

I've voted Man U for superstitious reasons only!

Both my head and my heart are Liverpool.
    United's soul is never sold
So proudly wear that green and gold
We'll never wear our famous Red
Till Glazer's gone or even dead
So raise that ancient standard high
By green and gold we'll live or die
That day will come again for sure
When we can wear our Red once more

    After yesterdays games.

Its chelsea's stuff to lose now.

If they cant win it from here, f!uck them (pretenders). I dont see arsenal winning it from here, they dont have the stamina, of course, football is evil but I dont see it, until I see it.

eitherway. two things are assured - mad ups+downs (no complains and write off United! at your own peril.
