Playboy Live TV vs. Playboy VOD TV

Dear readers,

Hi! Does anybody of you know if Playboy TV that was offered at one point on TVants, TVU, etc. was the actual Playboy Live TV (the one that is offered via cable TV) or Playboy VOD TV (the one that is offered via playboy.co.uk). I have read many discussions here and elsewhere about Playboy TV as P2P, but none of the posts were clear about which Playboy TV they were talking about.

Thanks very much! I still think there is room for Playboy TV. Unfortunately, I wasn't into P2P TV when it was available. Hopefully, it will be availabe in the future; not just the VOD version but the cable version as well.

You see when you click that link provided by ronin and it shows the mini windows player, i take it that adult channel starts up? i can never press play, stop or any of the buttons apart from volume this has been happening ages! The buttons are just greyed out? Happens when i get any link for this mini player can never watch anything... Anyone know how i can enable these buttons to work, been pissing me off for ages.

Hi, Deano1882!

My advice would be that you try different browsers until you find one that works. Please note that I am not talking about mainstream browsers like IE, Firefox, etc., but lesser known browsers. For instance, one that has worked wonderfully for me when others fail is Avant, but I don't know if it will work with the link provided by Ronin. Anyway, if you don't solve your problem, please feel free to e-mail me, and I will test some browsers for you when I have time.

i use mozilla, if that helps? Does it only happen when you view porn? If so it will be a filter switched on.

Cheers for the replies, i only use IE always have never had any trouble with it apart from these mini windows player... No lol not just on that porn link ronin on any link that takes you too that mini mode player i can never press the buttons. But the medium sized windows web player i can press the play, stop buttons, it's just always when i get a link to that mini player or whatever it is :(

Well, if Deano1882 only uses IE and wants to stick with IE, the solution could be downloading Enigma Browser and see it if works. Enigma Browser is basically a knock-off of IE, and uses WMP by default. If Enigma Browser doesn't work, then the problem is most likely related to WMP and not on any misconfiguration with the browser. Incidentally, Enigma Broswer works with DMR files from WMP which is something rare; well, maybe not that rare since it is a IE knock-off, more or less.
